I wore this last Wednesday to a community service agency to help pack bags of food for the local community. We were up to our ears in produce and got to serve a couple hundred families!
I’ve been tied up most weekends this year preparing for a HUUUUUGE conference for work this December, so I haven’t been able to be more involved in community service events, but I’m excited to once I get my life back in January! A friend from our church started a non-profit org a while ago called Bridge of Hope which helps meet the needs of distressed families in San Diego. I love the stuff they do and am looking forward to being more involved next year. Have you helped in community service events before? How was your experience?
