Alright, onto the outfits!
SIZING INFO: I’m 5’6” and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Printed Pants + Solid Bouse
First up is an outfit with these cute and SERIOUSLY COMFY plaid pants! This outfit is great for a day at work or for a holiday work party. Also, because the pants are so stinking comfortable, this is a good option for a special, dressier celebration at home. I know for many of us, comfort at home is key, and these pants fit the bill!
These plaid pants are one of the Kelsey trousers. They are a tad thinner than the Kelsey Trouser Super Stretch Ponte Pants that I’ve talked about before, but they are SOOOOOOO comfortable! They are smooth and super soft, and they are insanely stretchy! I was working from home in them one day to test how comfortable they are, and I actually forgot I was wearing work pants. I kept thinking I was in joggers because that’s how comfy they are! 😲 So, if you want comfy work clothes (uhhh, who wouldn’t?) give these a shot HERE!
In addition to being comfortable, these pants have a cute plaid pattern that provides visual interest and really elevates your outfit. I love that the print isn’t super loud, so you get the benefit of a visually interesting statement piece without standing out too much.
I paired them with a black top with puff sleeves and a smocked waistband. The smocked waistband provides a somewhat fitted and tailored look while still allowing the top to be loose around your midsection. The satiny material feels great against your skin. The top also has some sheen which helps dress up your outfit. Pair it with slacks for work like I did here, or wear it with dark wash skinny jeans or boot cut jeans for an elevated casual outfit! 2. Jeans + Statement Sweater
Next up is an elevated casual outfit with jeans and a soft statement sweater. I actually first heard about Liverpool Los Angeles from people talking about their denim. This pair is one of their eco-friendly options and has quite a bit of stretch. The material is on the medium to thicker side compared to many other stretchy jeans, which better smooths out bumps. That’s a huge plus! Liverpool Los Angeles has SO many other pairs of denim as well, like the Abby Skinny Silky Soft pair that has certainly piqued my interest!
This sweater has a relaxed vibe that’s also chic with dolman sleeves and a hi-low hem. More importantly, it’s VERY comfy! It’s super lightweight while still being cozy with its super soft material. It is not itchy at all and feels so good to the touch! Style it in a nicer casual look with jeans like I did here, or pair it with slacks for work. Some of you saw on IG stories that I wore it for a Zoom meeting at home with jeans, and with lightweight earrings instead of the statement necklace. It was so comfy and cozy, and I made a mental note to save it as an option for an at-home holiday celebration with our family. Check it out HERE. 3. Statement Blazer + Black Top + Black Jeans or Pants
This plaid blazer is the counterpart to the super comfy plaid pants from earlier. And yep, this blazer is VERY comfy and stretchy, too! Polished and comfortable–what more can you ask for?
Wear the plaid blazer and plaid pants together as a fierce suit, or extend their usage by wearing them as separates. Here, I paired the blazer with stretchy black jeans, which are another one of Liverpool Los Angeles’ eco-friendly options. I feel like they have even more stretch than the blue pair I showed above. You can’t see them here, but these jeans have exposed buttons that would be really cute to show off with a shorter top. These jeans, along with the same black blouse from our first outfit, make a streamline backdrop to show off the plaid blazer. Love it!
