After one _horrendous_ boat ride to the island (and thankfully a very calm one back), I’m glad to say I’ve made it safely back to civilization, aka the internet. I’ve been on that exact boat ride about 30 times, and 4 times it’s been a nightmare that included people losing their lunches…and breakfasts. This past trip was the worst I’d ever experienced, but I’m proud that I did not get sick on the boat. Whew!
What is making me sick is that we’ve been celebrating B’s birthday all weekend. Namely with carne asada tacos–both homemade and eating out–a luxury of living in San Diego. That man loves himself some tacos.
