If you’re a jeans & t-shirt girl and looking for a way to spruce up your wardrobe without going crazy, having to figure out style, or needing to give up your t-shirts, here’s the easiest way: add a necklace.
(This is another repeater outfit at random points between Fri – Mon. Just changed shoes–flats for Saturday’s church band practice when I was standing for 3.5 hours straight.)
I can’t tell you how many forums I’ve run across where someone asks this question, and much of the advice given involves the billion pieces they need to add to their wardrobe or how to overhaul their wardrobe altogether. Well, if you don’t want to do that, just buy some necklaces. (There are 6 cheap-to-the-cheap options below!) And if you’re stressed about knowing what colors go with each other, DON’T! 🙂 Don’t stress. Just throw on a necklace in the same color family as your shirt. I did it yesterday and today, and it’s the simplest of all simple dressing. But that little tiny necklace can make all the difference between looking like you don’t know what you’re doing to seeming put together.
