5 Casual and Business Casual Outfits With a Red Printed Top

Red Printed Top Styled 5 Ways

Last month I reviewed this adorable top, and today I want to show you a few ways to wear it!  Not only is it REALLY cute 😍, it’s lightweight which is great for this time of year, and it works for casual looks as well as can be dressed up for business casual outfits.

Today I’ll share casual and business casual outfits with a red printed top, but note this also comes in 6 really, really cute prints!  See them HERE.  I wear this top in M.

SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.

Summer Shorts Outfit: red and white flutter sleeve top + white cuffed denim shorts + tan braided thong sandals + metallic leather earrings

Outfit #1: White Bottoms
This top pairs well with white shorts for a casual look suited for the remaining summer heat!  You can also pair it with a white skirt that’s either dressy casual or business casual, depending on your skirt’s silhouette.  As the weather cools, or even come next spring, you can wear this top with white jeans also.  Lots of options there!

Summer Business Casual Outfit: red and white flutter sleeve top + tan pencil skirt + nude patent leather heels + metallic leather earrings

Outfit #2: Summer Business Casual Outfit With a Tan Pencil Skirt
Next, pair the top with a neutral colored pencil skirt for a summer business casual outfit that you can also wear through early fall.  This red works well with a tan skirt or other neutrals like navy, grey, and even olive green.

Casual Summer Outfit: red and white flutter sleeve top + skinny jeans + gold t-strap sandals + metallic leather earrings

Outfit #3: Jeans
Here’s a classic pairing with dark wash skinny jeans for a casual look for early fall.  I could have gone with tan sandals and accessories, but instead I added metallic ones.  I felt like a little shine helped lift the outfit and make it pop a bit more! 🌟

Summer Bootcut Jeans Outfit: red and white flutter sleeve top + bootcut jeans + tan sandals + metallic leather earrings

Outfit #4: Bootcut Jeans
Here’s another jeans outfit, this time using bootcut jeans.  I love how the bootcut silhouette looks with this flutter sleeve top!

These jeans are INSANELY comfortable!  They are SO stretchy and soft that they feel like yoga pants.  I’ve talked about these for several years, and at this point tons and tons of PMTers have gotten them and love them, too.  My pair is an older version and no longer available, but an updated version is available HERE.  It’s not *as* soft, but it is still pretty soft and very stretchy–still very comfy!  I size up to 8 in these to have a bit more room in the thighs and for more length.  Try a couple sizes and see which you prefer–Nordstrom offers free return shipping on all orders, so I always order multiple sizes!

Summer Business Casual Outfit: red and white flutter sleeve top + grey skinny pants + red flats + metallic leather earrings

Outfit #5: Grey Pants + Red Flats
Last is another summer business casual outfit that can also be worn into the fall.  This top pairs easily with grey pants, but to give it a little more oomph, I bookended the look with red flats!

I’ve had these flats for years, and they are relatively comfy given how inexpensive they are.  The upper is soft and flexible.  There is no cushion in the footbed (typical of inexpensive shoes), but you can always add an insert.  While I usually live for a padded footbed, I personally don’t feel the need for one in these flats.  They do run a tad wide, so if you have narrow feet they might not work out for ya.  I own them in 3 colors!  Check them out HERE.

These pants–I love the color and the texture.  They’re also affordable under $25.  However, you get what you pay for, and they do not at all compete with the more expensive, amazing-feeling pants I’ve told you about in the past.  (Ones like the Vince Camuto or Liverpool pants.)  I did an in-depth review and comparison of 6 slacks if you want to more details on how this one compares.  Check it out in my post 6 Slacks for Work: A Comparison Across Different Price Points.

This is a great top for the summer and through the transition to fall, especially if you’re looking for nicer casual tops and tops for work!  Remember, it comes in 6 prints.  Check them out HERE.
