Blush Top On Repeat + Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Heads Up

Before we talk about this outfit, I just wanted to give you a heads up about one of the biggest sales, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale which begins this Thursday!  Well, it begins for people who have Early Access, that is!  AKA, you need a Nordstrom card.  I’ll talk more about it soon, but if you want to read up on it you can see my post from last year HERE.

For now, all I’ll say is that last year I finally got a Nordstrom card like just a day or two before the sale started, and I’m glad I did because some things sell out really quickly.  AND, what I didn’t realize prior to that was that you can get a Nordstrom DEBIT card instead of a credit card.  And you earn points to spend as dollars on more Nordstrom stuff.  The debit card option was fantastic because I avoid opening new credit cards, especially at stores, as much as I can.  But you still get Nordstrom points with the debit card!  Again, I’ll explain that more, but not until the sale starts, so if you’re interested at all go read my post from last year HERE.  Find Nordstrom’s credit/debit card info HERE.

Okay, so about this outfit.  I’m usually into bright colors in the summer, but this summer I’ve actually been digging more pale and/or neutral colors.  I’ve been wearing this top on repeat because it’s a refreshing color or a relatively plain top.  I’ve worn it with lighter wash boyfriend jeans (on Instagram HERE, blog soon), olive shorts, and this white eyelet skirt.  I’m loving all of those color combos!

I wore this for Father’s Day last month, and let’s be honest…I was extra cautious and conscious since I was around Addie the whole day wearing my new white skirt.  She was sitting next to me with chocolate-bread fingers, markers, and Sesame Street stamps, and I’m glad to say I dodged them all. *praise hands emoji*

Another thing I love about this top is that the back is t-shirt material, but the front is that slightly nicer than t-shirt material.  It’s a great mix for being super casual or slightly dressier.

There are a few below, most of which are $20 or under and t-shirt material, with the exception of the first one which is $35, but it is the one with material that seems most similar to mine–t-shirt in the back and nicer in the front.  It’s also LOFT, so the similarities in material makes sense.  The neckline for Option 3 (HERE) is most similar to mine, and I feel it would be easiest to wear with a statement necklace if you want to dress it up anytime.  However, Option 2 (HERE) is the same as the grey tee that I’m in love with that I talked about in the last Instagram roundup and it’s in blush!  Option 4 (HERE) is very cute, but unfortunately the peplum didn’t work on me.
