Our plans this weekend to be poolside were thwarted by a stomach bug (not me for once, thankfully) and days that stayed covered in clouds. Instead we stayed home, hung out with friends, and did a TON of errands and cleaned up random things that have been piling up in the house for a long time. Call me weird, but taking care of business like that is nearly just as good as lounging around a pool to me. Maybe even better…because then I can neurotically check things off my to-do list, and that’s one of my favorite things!
I finally decided on some new summer sandals, and you’re looking at ’em. I didn’t think sandals with a thick strap across the ankle would look good on me since they usually make my calves look larger as well as shorten my leg line. BUT, this pair from Target hits below my ankles and blends in with my skin and somehow managed to work out quite nicely. Find new summer sandals–another thing to check off my to-do list. Neuroticism feels so good!
