A Very Appropriate Mother’s Day + 6 Striped Dress Options

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there!  It was my 2nd Mother’s Day, and I spent the afternoon cleaning up Addie after she woke herself up from her nap coughing so hard that she threw up.  Cheese was stuck in her hair, and blueberries were smashed all over her crib.  Sorry if that’s TMI!  I’ve built up some immunities to its grossness because it’s not the first time it’s happened.  It basically happens every time she has a cold.  She coughs SO hard that she gags herself, and if she ate too soon prior to her nap it always ends up like this.  Anyway, it actually felt really appropriate for Mother’s Day, because a lot of parenthood ain’t pretty!  😀  (If you follow on Snapchat you already knew this though! @audreyPMT)
Other than that, we went to church, took a nice family walk along the bay, and my husband went out and got bubble tea for me while I napped.  Pretty low key because both Benson and Addie were terribly sick going into the weekend.  And honestly, I loved it.  All I wanted to do was walk with my family and have bubble tea, haha!  Coulda done without the throwing up part though, haha!
Anyway, this outfit is made up of basics from my Spring Sample Wardrobe.  You’ll be seeing more of those pieces on Wednesday with an upcoming remix post!
Until then, if you haven’t found a good striped dress yet, now is the time.  Below are 6 great options, with variation in dress structure.  Two are flowy swing dresses, two are t-shirt dresses, and a couple are structured to help provide shape.
