1. White Blouse + Dark Wash Jeans
First up is this really classic and classy outfit with a white button up top and dark wash bootcut jeans. I love that this white top is made of flowy material, so it has movement and doesn’t appear stiff or stuffy. You can totally wear this top to work (which I shared recently HERE), or you can create a casual outfit with the top by pairing it with dark wash bootcut jeans. A darker wash dresses up the outfit and adds a sophisticated and timeless touch. Not to mention these jeans are comfy! 2. Solid Top + Printed Skirt
This is a combo that looks really good but is SO easy to put together! Take any printed skirt, then pair it with a solid colored top that echoes one of the colors in the print for a cohesive, pulled together outfit.
This skirt is really pretty and really comfortable with a fully elastic waistband and flowy fit. It’s fully lined and hits just below the calf for a modern silhouette. It comes in 11 colors, which you can see HERE. I wear size S.
My favorite way to wear skirts is to make sure you have one that hits a bit higher, at your natural waist, and then tuck in a top all the way around. Flowy skirts add volume to your bottom half, so doing this helps define your waist and your shape. 3. Elevated Casual Top + Dark Wash Jeans
Instead of going with a blouse, wear an elevated casual top like this! It’s made of a casual material, cotton, but it has plenty of details like a cute print, scalloped flutter sleeves, and a square neckline to elevate it and make it dressier. It’s so, so cute! The top is quite long on me and isn’t very fitted through the torso, so I tucked it in and bloused it out a bit all the way around (front, back, and sides) to help define my shape without being too formfitting. I think it worked well, but, of course, always test it on yourself to see how you like it!
You could dress this top down a bit by pairing it with skinny medium wash jeans or black jeans and flat sandals.
But, for a date look, we’re going with dark wash jeans again—they are a go-to option that easily dresses up just about any top! These are the same bootcut jeans I wore in the previous outfit.
