My default outfit has been my dark wash skinny jeans with my tan grandpa cardigan and either tan flats or brown ankle boots, which I have yet to take a picture of. But I finally changed it up a little here with...um...the same basic pieces (skinny jeans and sweater cardigan) in different colors. Haha. Oh well, it still counts, right? ;)
This top is pretty thin but is super soft, and it's loose and forgiving, making it even more comfortable. It has a cute uneven hem across the front that I can't really explain and unfortunately isn't captured well in these pictures or in the product site's pictures. I'll snap some mirror selfies soon to show the hem. Anyway, I've been wearing this so much because it's comfortable for bending down and playing with a toddler, but I can still go to a meeting in it and not feel out of place. It also works under a navy blazer or tucked into a skirt if you need to dress it up a bit more.
Also, it's on sale right now! (Find it HERE.) Honestly, I still find it on the expensive side even on sale, but it has been hard for me to find tees like this that I like. So I went for it. I'm normally size 6 on top and wearing this in S. But beware, I would not recommend drying this in the machine regardless of the tag saying "tumble dry low." Given the material my guess is that it would shrink lots. If you are wary, size up.
EDIT: I totally forgot to mention that it DID shrink in the wash, and even though it stretched back out some, it still shrank about 1/2" total. If you have a long torso or are between sizes, size up and plan to shrink it.
Also, this bag has been out of stock for a while, but Nordstrom is carrying it now. I've talked about it before, but it's surprisingly become one of my more used bags because it's really sturdy and carries a good amount of stuff.
