Floral Tank Strikes Again

This floral tank is one of my favorite and most worthwhile purchases.  I bought from Old Navy after seeing it on Madeline's blog (Uber Chic for Cheap) nearly 4 years ago, and I never looked back.  Actually, yes I did.  I looked back often, grateful that I found Madeline's blog.  (Hers is was one of the first style blogs I ever followed!)

I've worn this, ohhhh you know, just about a million ways.  Last Friday I dressed it up a little girly with my super comfy new replacement white skirt for a belated birthday lunch.  Both Benson and I have April birthdays but we were either sick or out of town during them.  We finally treated ourselves to a nice birthday lunch this past Friday!  (My birthday was two Sundays ago.  32 years old and in disbelief but loving it!)

Looking at these pics, I may be rethinking the bag choice with the shoes.  But, my stuff was already in that bag and we were in a hurry so I threw it on, took pics, and hopped in the car.  The good news is that you take your purse off in real life.  ;)

Anyway!  Option 1 below is similar to the one I'm wearing in the sense that it's a neutral base with large, spaced out flowers.  Option 2 also seems super similar, and it's on major sale!.  The rest have kind of a neutral

  7. Super cute!!!! I'm loving that skirt.... but asos sizing can be confusing at times. Do you mind me asking, what size you're wearing?

  8. I'm wearing size 8. Normally I wear 6 with a-line skirts, and 8 with pencils, but Asos does run small. (Because of Euro sizing I think?)

I loveeee and live in floral tanks! In the winter, I may layer a long sleeve under them. In the spring and fall, I layer cardigans over them. In the summer, I wear them as is... Seriously some of the most versatile items I own!

  14. I love that you do daytime dates. We should totally try that if we ever have a free Saturday. Much easier than evenings! And happy belated b-day!

  15. We are so stinking tired in the evenings! Both of us work from home (I do a lot of work from home, but not always) so we are taking advantage of our flexible schedules with Friday lunch dates. And thanks for the birthday wishes!

  16. Love the cardi! Audrey, if you could do a post on short-sleeve cardis great for spring/summer, that'd be wonderful. They seem hard to find, at least for me. Thanks!

  22. Uberchicforcheap was one of the first style blogs I read too! That is probably how I came across yours. :) I, personally think that bag looks great with your outfit. It provides nice color + texture. A nude bag would have been too matchy-matchy!

Thanks for the shout out! I love that tank. I owned it myself and got rid of it after I had Tate. I'm still not over it. :'( You look amazing!

  28. Yes, that top is SO pretty! I love how it looks in basically all of the outfits you've styled with it over the years. I'm smitten with your white skirt, too, by the way. I wish I could find a similar skirt that would flatter my body :)
