OMG, Blogger ate my post. So, reposting and trying to rewrite the parts that got erased. Dah!
Anyway, my outfit posts are usually a little delayed, but this week--man, oh, man, are they delayed! I've been at a work conference in Chicago all week so I haven't been posting much here. This outfit is from Good Friday. Two weeks ago!
I attended Good Friday without Addie, so I saw it as the perfect opportunity to wear my new, comfy, black (not nursing friendly) dress. I've linked to this dress before and have shown it on Instagram, but it was finally put into action on Good Friday. It did not disappoint, you guys.
I felt dressed up for an important occasion, but totally comfy. Like, so stinking comfortable! I paired it with my pale pink pendant to freshen it up a bit and topped it off with new leopard pumps to give the look some life.
I normally wear S/M and am wearing S. And it's on sale for $15 today!
I've wanted a new pair of leopard pumps that is lighter than the Target pair I currently have. This lighter print from Sole Society is perfect! (There is a darker version too, though.) For some reason I find it much easier to incorporate into more outfits, probably because it's subtler and less prominent than a darker pair.
I've mentioned before that I'm trying to take better care of my feet and therefore my whole body, whether by the insoles I reviewed last week or buying better shoes. Ideally both, but it's slow to revamp your shoe wardrobe.
Anyway, for these, the material around the toe box fits me comfortably, whereas other cheaper shoes sometimes bother me there. Reviews said they ran long, but that sizing down made the toes too narrow. I would agree. I normally wear 8.5-9 and I'm wearing these in 8.5 with a couple of heel liners. Other than that, the 2.5" heel makes them easy to walk in.
