What season are stripes NOT good for? Name one, I dare ya. I've been loving a white striped top with white jeans, white shorts, or a white skirt lately. It feels so fresh and relaxed!
Little secret: I sleep in this shirt. I bought it a long time ago and wore it a decent amount, but then I realized something about it always made me feel pajama-ish. It hung in my closet for over a year unworn (yeesh, I know...but I was pregnant for 9 of those months too, so yeah...) until I recently figured out it's the perfect sleeping shirt.
However, now that I've been wearing it to sleep I of course want to wear it in a bunch of outfits again! Dah! I need two of these things!
Anyway, if this top was paired with the white jeans by itself the whole thing might still resemble pajamas, or at least not look entirely pulled together. If that happens with your outfit, just add other pieces with more structure or texture to them, like a denim jacket, a leather tote, a statement necklace, or shoes with some sort of straps or details. I did all of the above!
And speaking of needing two of these tops, this H&M one looks incredibly similar, at least online. I'm sure about the material and whatnot, and my stripes are actually thin double stripes for each line while the H&M one is single stripes, but the neckline looks exactly like the one I'm wearing and the overall feel is very similar.
