Maroon, Black, and Tan

Is anyone else into maroon this season?  I know a couple of you are because you've commented professing your love for it!  Haha.  I've always liked maroon but I really like it this season for some reason.  Apparently stores do too because it was easy to find tops similar to this.  (See collage below.)

Normally I'd wear this outfit with regular ol' blue jeans, but I opted for tan instead and I liked it simply because it's a little different for me.  I've done a maroon/black/brown combo only one other time that I can recall (find it HERE), and I remember being pleasantly surprised by the combo back then too.  Would you wear this color combo?

Double collages below because there were so many options for each!  If anyone's looking for a black blazer, now is the time to search.  There's TONS out there.

  1. There was so much gorgeous burgundy/maroon at Old Navy today. It was all so beautiful. I had SUCH a hard time not bringing it all home with me. It's so gosh darn beautiful!

  2. I really love this color combo! The pants are such a great khaki color, too. I think it's so hard to find the right shade of khaki (one of the great problems of the world, surely), so I'm glad you posted a link to these ON ones!

  3. Ha! I just wrote a post on my love of burgundy/maroon (plaid too) for this fall. Great minds think alike? 😀

  4. Nope! You can totally do lace and eyelet things in the fall and winter! It being navy helps a lot also. Same thing as any other dress--tights and a cardigan.

This looks so different for you and I think it's the khaki jeans! I don't think I've ever seen you wear khaki bottoms before. I don't have any yet, but I feel like it would be a good neutral to put into my rotation. I'm also LOVING maroon. Wearing Old Navy's maroon boyfriend chinos today actually.

  12. Oh boy, do I love this color combination or what!? You look wonderful! I've been having a love affair with maroon for about two years now, and I can't get enough. I love maroon + black + tan together as well...I even wore the combo a couple of days ago by pairing my maroon dress with my leopard scarf! :)

  15. I'm absolutely loving the maroon and navy colors this fall. I can't get enough of them! I have to keep reminding myself that it wouldn't be wise to have a closet filled with only those two colors :-)
