Shop Feature: White Plum

YOU GUYS.  There are several things I cannot WAIT to do once this baby comes out: 1) eat lox and poke, 2) bend over without worrying about squishing a little human, 3) gain back some of my closet, and 4) shop at White Plum.  You might think I'm exaggerating or just saying that 4th one because this post is about White Plum, but seriously, it's on my list among some other things that went unnamed!

White Plum is a cuuuuuute online boutique (that I've talked about before) with unique pieces that will pair wonderfully with the basics in your closet.  Incorporating some of White Plum's pieces with the rest of your closet will give you a special wardrobe that stands out--in the cute way, not the crazy way.  But if you're down for some crazy, you could probably do that too.

Here's the scoop on the pieces I featured above...

Dress: c/o White Plum (exact)  |  Bag: Target (exact)  |  Wedges: Target (exact)

Since I'm sporting a baby bump I could only show one article of clothing, which is NOT a maternity piece but still fits my baby bump amazingly!  I'm in love with this dress.  The crochet detail is cute and unique, and the dress itself is soooo comfy.  I wore this to a rehearsal dinner that involved a taco truck in a luxurious backyard.  You could wear it for a date night, out to brunch or lunch, or...well really, I'd wear it to run errands in.  Why the heck not?  That's the beauty of maxi dresses!

And, the back of the shoulders is crochet too!  Surprise!

This dress is ON SALE right now, so if you're digging it, scoop it up!  And while you're at it use the 20% off code White Plum is giving us: PUTTINGMETOGETHER20.

Dress: Target (similar)  |  Boots: c/o White Plum (exact)  |  Bag: Target (exact)  |  Belt: Target (similar)

I showed this outfit yesterday but saved the talk about the boots for today.  I've been scouring the internet for ankle boots just like these!  They come in this camel color, grey, and black.  They're great for the fall, but you can also wear them in the summer like I did if you're not battling ridiculous humidity.  Pair them with skirts, dresses, or skinny jeans come fall!

Top: H&M Maternity (similar)  |  Jeans: Target Maternity (exact)  |  Bag: c/o White Plum (exact)  |  Shoes: H&M (similar)  |  Necklace: c/o That's Mine Boutique

This bag comes in camel, white, pink, black, and this too cool for school blue.  I let it pop against a primarily white outfit but incorporated a touch of peach.  It's pretty sturdy with ample room to carry belongings and definitely knows how to make an outfit pop.  But if it's too bright for you there are four other colors to choose from.  I dared go with blue though, cuz sometimes an outfit needs a little pick me up, you know what I mean?  This bag certainly does.

Check out White Plum for more!  They've got tons of inventory that I can't wait to seriously get to shop for in a couple of months.  Plus, they're having a sale right now!

AND, remember to get 20% off with code PUTTINGMETOGETHER20 through Thursday, 7/24!

This post was sponsored by White Plum.  All opinions are mine.  (I love this shop!)  For more info on PMT's sponsorship philosophies see disclosure page.

  4. Thoroughly smitten by that dress bu here's the important question: how do you wear a bra with that? Is it strapless time? Or do you just bear with straps showing?

How tall are you? I love the maxi but I'm pretty short and I'm nervous it will be too long. There aren't any measurements listed on their website. Thanks for your help!

  18. Lol! You're pregnant, and eating ice cream while Benson does the heavy lifting (or easy placing?) either way, is totally called for. :) Love this look, and hope you're having a great week!

  21. I do many of the same things as you with regards to scheduling! I used to take my photos every morning and then write a quick post sometime during that day, but that got to be overwhelming and unrealistic pretty quickly. I often will take photos of my outfits each day (depending on my schedule for the day, the weather, etc.), but I am about a week ahead of schedule, so my outfits are posted later than when I wear them. I, too, plan my outfits ahead of time, so I sometimes will take my photos in batches as well, as I know what I'm going to wear already :) I also use a little paper calendar to plan out my posts sometimes as well - it helps me remember certain linkups, theme weeks, etc. and it keeps me from getting stagnant in writing the same kinds of posts over and over again. I haven't been good at keeping up with it this summer since my schedule is all over the place, but once my school year starts up again, I know I'll turn back to my little calendar! :)

  22. This outfit is a great reminder to me to pull out my ankle boots! I totally have forgotten them this summer, since I've been living in sneakers and sandals!!

  23. Oh. My. GOSH. That navy maxi dress is STUNNING, and you look utterly beautiful in it! And how perfect that it can be worn after your babe is born as well!

  24. I love these! I got caught up in it too, but on the reading side of blogging.
When I had to have my gall bladder removed in an emergency in December, I couldn't even think about blogging the entire month was just recovery and complications and more recovery. By the time I felt ready to check things out again my blog lovin roll had 500 posts waiting for me. I stayed up every night, all night for a week so I could read/comment posts, because 1/2 of blogging is networking. Once I finished them I was caught back up to day-to-day posts. I had just finished the reading marathon and didn't even want to look at another fashion post and got behind again! Now, I typically read blogs 2-3 times a week instead of everyday, and I take photos whenever I can. I'm hoping to get back to regular scheduling soon!

  25. Whoa! That's commitment. When I come back from being away for a week and see 100 (nowhere near your 500!) posts in the queue I just mark them all as read!

    ReplyDelete
  26. IT was 4 weeks of blog reading lol. Plus, when I as sick everyone had such kind words and gave me shout outs on social media and such that I was like, I owe it to them to read and comment.

The first two I started following cuz they were pregnant and had toddlers at the same time I did. Cara is super fashionista-y, lots of heels and $$$, and Anna lives in Ireland, which makes copying fashion a little tough. Henry Happend is a lot of other things (recipes and diy stuff) which is cool, but I like to see more clothes.
I also like www.nomoremomjeans.com though we don't really have the same style, she's pretty funny, especially the Freaky Friday posts.
Basically I like your realistic, budget-friendly style! :) if you know of any other good style bloggers to follow... Let me know! :) Thanks for always taking the time to respond to comments!
