Coral, Yellow, and Neutrals

I think it's safe to say yellow is my go-to pairing for coral.  When I first wore the combo, I think it was with coral pants and a solid bright yellow blouse, which was an enormous and daring color explosion.  Although I actually really liked it, it felt like a huge risk to wear such a bright color blocked outfit.  But since it's not everyday that I want that much attention I've learned to hone it in a little and use just accents of either color and a healthy mix of neutrals.  It's a great way to incorporate the colors without looking like a walking highlighter!

  1. I think somehow I've never paired yellow and coral! Navy is my go-to, but I'll have to remember this fun combo next time I'm in the mood for something a little different.

Loving the coral stripes! Almost wishing I was preggo so that I could justify purchasing it ;)

I wore that color combo last week, but was a little uncertain if it actually worked. Now that I see it on you, I feel much better about it! :) I'll wear that outfit again!

I just bought these maternity pants after seeing you sport them! Do they seem to fall down/stretch out a lot after a day of wear?

  7. Haha! I think I might be able to wear this shirt post-pregnancy. It's not ruched or anything...not even longer in the front. Sooooo, I'm thinking it's pretty much a normal top that has a little extra room, but we'll see!

  8. I love coral and navy too. And coral and grey. And coral and tan. Coral with most things, really. But my first inclination is usually with yellow, at least during the warm seasons, which is often in San Diego!

  9. I haven't noticed stretching besides the fact that they're stretchy in general. (Which adds a lot of comfort!) I think by the time I took these pics I'd worn them 4 times without a wash.

  14. I'm going to have to try this color combo. I look actual in stripes though so stripes won't work. :X

  15. Coral and yellow...I don't think I would have tried that combo, but I'm loving what you've done with it! Thanks as always for the "where to buy" links. Number 4 has my name written all over it :)
