White Jeans White Sneaks

Dude.  Look at that little butterball of a stomach!

Two things made me dorkily giddy this weekend.  (Well, more than that, but let's show some restraint around here, okay?)  We spent the weekend cleaning out our guest room to turn it into a nursery, and I cleared out textbooks and notebooks that I'd been hanging onto since college.  COLLEGE.  (I'm 31 now, so do the math.)  Given how much of a minimalist Benson is, how I managed to hang onto those for that long is beyond me.  Once I stopped snickering over the triumph of having kept those for so long under Benson's watch, what actually made me giddy was the glorious feeling of getting rid of crap that you don't need.  Holler if you feel me cuz it feels ohhh so good!

Number two: white pants with white sneakers.  *cue cheesy, overly excited smile*  I told you I'm way into white on white this summer, and this is another marvelous expression of it!  So fresh and so clean, clean.

All but one below are under $30, the last being $33.

  1. Oh setting up the nursery is such fun! :) And it is good to have a clear out now and then. I found the strangest things when we cleared out to make space for the nursery!
You and your bump are looking amazing :)

Love the stripped hoodie with this all white look. I have been trying to get rid of my hubby's college text books (he's in his 40s!!) and he just refuses. I think I will just sneakily toss them out.

  5. You look adorable!
We've been trying to do the same thing - getting rid of stuff. Unfortunately I don't feel like I'm doing it fast enough!

  6. Your maternity style is so cute! I was pregnant at 19 (i know, I know) and 21, and remember trying to squeeze into anything with a bit of stretch because the maternity stiff looked like Granny stuff with empire waists. I had my Fiance's aunt cut the waist band off my regular bootcut jeans and sew on elastic ala Juno because of my deep hatred of frumpy maternity jeans. You look young, fresh, sweet, and glowing.

  8. Thanks again, Brynn! I'm a huge fan of these sneakers. Can't believe how cheap they are compared to other white sneakers too!
