The White Mini Satchel

Lately I've been talking about refreshing my wardrobe with accessories rather than stocking up on too many maternity pieces that I may not be able to wear later on.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm in need of a few more maternity pieces, but I'm reverting to remixing 101, focusing on maternity basics, and relying on accessories to liven up my outfits.  Since I received a bunch of Target gift cards for my birthday I treated myself to a few accessories, including this white satchel.  It's the mini version of my first love, my cognac Target satchel.  You know...the one that's in every other picture I post here.  The white version has been taunting me for a while but I couldn't justify having a cognac and a white one in the same size.  Buuuuuut, a mini version?  Uhhh, twist my arm, why dontcha?

  1. Cute outfit and purse Audrey. I love the purse. So versatile, so many options.

  2. I almost bought the mini satchel yesterday and I am totally kicking myself for leaving it behind. I guess I have to make another trip to Target… oh darn!

  3. I've been eyeing that bag too, I want!

  4. Such a cute bag! I miss carrying smaller bags (I've been toting a diaper bag the last 21-months!)

  5. Haha, you are so cute - "twist my arm, why dontcha" :) I love using accessories to spice up my outfits as well. Since I'm trying to adopt a more minimalist style/lifestyle, I've been focusing on basics, remixing, and thoughtful accessorizing much more often myself. Your bag really is cute - I like how fresh it looks! That top is gorgeous, by the way :)

  6. Just wanted to ask: Have you heard of maternity clothes rental companies like mine for nine or borrow for your bump? Have you tried them? What do you think?

  7. Cute lace top!

  8. Such a cute lace top! :) I find during pregnancy I'm definitely not buying at the same rate I was before, and I'm being more considerate of what I purchase. When I find something that works in my wardrobe and it's a great basic (like a tank or tee) and it's stretchy enough to cover the bump despite being non maternity, I add it to my shopping list! I probably bought more non-maternity things than maternity things this pregnancy! :)

  9. I have been debating about getting the bright coral version! I suppose white would be much more practical though! I'm also pregnant and in buying accessories mode!

  10. I still haven't bought many maternity pieces either. It's pretty amazing how far you can get in pregnancy with maxi skirts, dresses, and belted tunics!

  11. Wellllll, it turns out the bright coral version is HOT HOT HOT PINK. So, just be prepared! And congrats on your pregnancy!

You re really pretty in this look!
    the selection is so beautiful!
Have a fab weekend my dear!

  13. Love the lace top! Can you tell me what size you're wearing? Couldn't find a size chart on their site.

  14. I got that bag recently and love it! I wouldn't have known about the satchels without you, though!

  15. Just added that bag to Tagr ... but i just don't think I can wait for it to go on sale!! Also a note on the top- I recently bought the same one and it does run a bit large. It can still work but I would've ordered down a size had I known :)

  16. I think it's so cute! Your cognac colored one has held up so well that I definitely think buying the white one is worth it!

  17. It is! :) Means more budget for cute baby clothes and things too! haha! :)

  18. You have created a new obsession for me with yellow pendant necklaces, but I can't find any links for ones like yours! It goes with practically everything! Help a girl out?

(Also, I went on a Target.com rampage last night to boost up my summer work wardrobe, and I can't even tell you how inspirational your blog was in helping me pick my pieces. Thank you for creating such accessible, wearable looks that give hope to us normal people!!!)

  19. Thanks so much, Marie! I hope you are happy with your new summer work wardrobe! And, if I find more yellow pendant necklaces I'll let you know.
