Jamberry Nails + Giveaway!

Typically I'm not huge on doing my nails--especially not on my hands.  I'm a guitar player, and any guitar player knows that manicures + guitars + the callouses and finger-destroying characteristics that comes with it don't mix well.  I never want to paint my nails because I feel like they'll get ruined stat.

When Allison Parkey from Jamberry Nails contacted me to try some nail wraps, I told her that I never do my nails for those reasons.  BUT, if she thought I'd love them after trying, I was willing to give them a shot.  Besides, Easter was coming up, along with my brother's wedding, and I figured it'd be good to have some pretty nails for those events!

Allison sent me a few different designs to try, and while there are 300+ designs available (!!!) I was looking for some that I could wear to my brother's wedding.

Once I got the hang of it, applying the wraps was REALLY easy.  It probably took me less than 30 seconds to apply each wrap, which is waaaaaay faster than painting nails!  There are written instructions and a helpful video on the site, but here's a quick breakdown of how it works:
One sheet includes 18 nail wraps, which should be enough for 2-3 applications.  And they last up to 2 weeks on fingers and 4 weeks on toes!

Benson asked me if I would use Jamberry Nails over painting my nails, and I said ABSOLUTELY!  Like I said, it only took me less than a minute to do each nail, and they last for a long time!  Plus I can get cool designs, which would take way way way longer to do if I painted my nails.

I've already decided that these would make a great gift for some friends too!

Giveaway
This week Allison's giving you a chance to win FOUR Jamberry nail wrap sheets of your own!  Enter in the Rafflecopter widget below.

Or if you don't want to wait, visit Allison's Jamberry Nails site and get some nail wraps pronto!

  30. I am in the same boat, a wedding the end of June and another the end of December. :) Thankfully I have a date (cute hubby). I really don't want to buy two dresses. Audrey, I like the first one better, but I agree with Kelsey and Rebecca, the second one seems more versatile.

  36. Hi Audrey,
You always look lovely. I am a bit farther along than you are and I thought I'd say a quick word about maternity dresses/styles for your later summer weddings. I was told by more than one person to try different dress styles when pregnant than I might normally choose. I didn't think much of the advice because I am know which cuts flatter my frame/shape. I ended up maternity shopping with my mother and sister a couple of weeks ago and was actually surprised by the styles/cuts that were most flattering. They were slightly different than clothing choices I made Pre pregnancy. Good luck in the next few months.

    ReplyDelete
  37. This are very cool and I love how easy it looks! I love them all!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love Cup of Tea and all the other floral ones.

    ReplyDelete
  39. We go to at LEAST 6-7 weddings a year on average, and I do NOT buy different dresses for each one. That would be crazy! Lucky for me with this round, both of these dresses were free! :D (First one is borrowed from a friend after she saw that I purchased it on Instagram...she had the same one and offered to lend it to me. Second one is c/o SheInside, so I lucked out!)

  40. Love the baseball wrap!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm not sure about this, but I *think* you can ask for samples to try. I saw it on Allison's Jamberry Nails FB page!

    ReplyDelete
  42. If you apply these correctly they won't chip! I've been scraping my nails against stuff going "Oh CRAP!" and worrying that I ruined my nails, but because it's a laminate seal and not paint they can endure a lot more of my haphazardness. :P

    ReplyDelete
  53. I am going to be 10 weeks post partum for my brother-in-law's wedding, which for me is not enough time to be back in my usual size, so I didn't want to purchase a dress I'd only wear once. I decided to try Rent the Runway. I hope it works out! Have you used it?

I love the mommy and me nails!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Both the dresses look cute..I like the colour of the second one better though! However, one tip to keep in mind, make sure your ...errrm..twins have ample support because mine kind of grew out of proportion during my pregnancy - not to mention, the soreness :( I was wearing bras with wide thick straps then because I didn't want them to end up looking saggy! So you might have to rethink the first dress. However, if you think yours are doing fine, go right ahead!!! You look great in both outfits! Have a fun time!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Mint and gold stripes...swoon.
