Neutrals, Lace, and Leopard

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Thanksgiving is the biggest holiday on my mom's side of the family, and since my family is chock-full of really good cooks we go all out every year.  Of course, it was delicious.  As far as Black Friday goes, though I love shopping, for some reason I've never been that into Black Friday, whether in-store or online.  But what did I miss?  What deals did you score?

As far as this outfit goes, I wore it last week to all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ to celebrate B getting a new job.  I can't seem to get out of pairing lace with leather and/or leopard.  But hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

  7. What a great outfit! I honestly don't think you missed out on much-- the sales weren't anything terrific (it's hard to get excited over 40% sales when they occur once a month). I did, however, score 7 DVDs for $8, so I'm pretty stoked for that!

  8. Love this outfit! Serious question for you: how do you keep your black jeans so black? I feel like after I washed mine a few times (in cold water with other dark clothes), they have faded just enough to not look as sharp as they did when I bought them. Do you have any tips to pass along?

  9. I bought a white lace tee this past fall as a total impulse purchase, and I've ended up wearing it at least once a week! Such a versatile piece--yours looks great here!

  12. Just a few times and they're faded? That's a bummer. I usually do what you said about washing in cold water, and I wash them inside-out and air dry them. Not sure how much of a difference that makes. Other than that, for me it's also been very dependent on the brand.
