Blazers and Boots like Chocolate and Peanut Butter

You probably couldn't tell last week from my posting, but I was actually gone in the Bay Area visiting family for 10 days.  That's why I put together that 10 piece packing list.  This was the only outfit I took pictures of last week (shame on me), but it wasn't one of the 14 outfits I showed.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to use that list again because there were so many combinations to be made.  I never felt limited and only packed a carry-on luggage for a 10 day trip, including workout clothes and running shoes!

Anyway, anyone else a fan of blazers with boots?  Individually they are two of my clothing loves, so putting them together makes them both even better, like pairing chocolate with peanut butter.  Separately, they're delicious, but together...YUMMY GOODNESS.  Try it sometime if you haven't yet!

  5. I really like the stripes paired with the brown boots and adorable scarf. Stripes go with everything, obviously.

  6. Love it! I've been on the hunt for a medium to dark gray blazer that I liked since maybe as far back as summer of 2012. Finally found one today. Was trying to see if I could find option #5 local, and ended up with a Lauren Conrad ponte blazer, heather gray for $24.99(instead of $70). Machine washable, no buttons, 3/4 length sleeves and fits me like a glove. I had just returned 2 sizes of a black lace top that didn't work for me, and with that store credit, I basically got my blazer for free. Nice how it works out like that sometimes. ;) http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1533030/lc-lauren-conrad-ponte-blazer.jsp

  9. Love all of those blazers. I've been on a hunt for similar ones so I will have to check those out. I'm always scared to pair black and brown together like that but you make it look super cute.

  11. Hi Audrey! I spent the holiday in the Bay Area as well, what part were you in? I took a carry-on home as well and tried to be very purposeful about every item I took home, even packing in outfits (which I've never done before!). I hope you have a packing list post here on the blog I can check out, I'm definitely intrigued! Love that gray blazer as well. I'm hesitant about them because I have a hard time finding ones that fit me, but the gray is dreamy!

  16. Omg I got those last week and ate half the package in one sitting. SO good. They're just like the "Tagalong" girl scout cookies we have in the Pacific NW.

  24. Looking snazzy as always in your blazer! I've stopped wearing blazers because they do not keep me warm AT ALL and I can't fit my work shirt and a cardigan under it so sadly they're taking a break until it's warm enough or I can wear a sweater underneath. I'd love to get a wool blazer at some point--Gap has a gorgeous camel colored one I've been lusting over. Now if they made blazers with fleece lining, I'd buy one in every color!

  27. I love that you mixed gray, black, white, and cognac together. Neutral heaven. And you also made me crave oreos and peanut butter...another winning combo :)

  28. I love this one, too! What a fun color palette! I'm going to visit a friend for a long weekend in Charlotte in a few weeks, and I'm starting to think about what to pack. I'll definitely be referring to your packing list when making my own list :)
