Effortless

I've said before that I often repeat one outfit most of the weekend, and this was it for Friday and Saturday.  I'm really drawn to flowy tops lately.  I surprised myself when I gravitated towards this white blouse at Forever 21 because I never knew what to do with plain white blouses a couple of years ago.  But I liked the way it hung--just effortlessly.  I had several meetings on Friday and was at a retreat all day on Saturday and didn't have to worry about my shirt bunching up or riding up and showing who knows what or anything like that.  Just effortless.  Not to mention it effortlessly hides my food baby.  And I don't know about you, but any shirt that hides a food baby is a friend of mine.

  2. Audrey, your blog is truly an inspirational to me. I've enjoy looking at how you put your clothing pieces together and how you remix them over and over again. There is one thing I would like to ask, have you ever considered incorporating the kind that are made to last for many years to come and the kind that is made in your country? You have many wonderful timeless pieces but they seem to be the fast fashion kind based on the places you shop at. Have you ever consider slow fashion which is slowly becoming popular?

  4. Since the jacket, necklace and wedges are all from the same colour family, they bring a sense of coherence to this outfit! :)

  14. The bracelet is beautiful and so chic. I'm glad that she's wearing something to support the local fashion industry.

I'm about to revamp my wardrobe. That is reduce the number of clothing pieces, focus on slow fashion and start knitting.

  15. I invested in some basic white tees from Target- I'm loving how simple and put together they can look for summer! This top is especially delicious, I love the drapey look! Definitely trying a leather jacket over mine next!
