Triangles & Repeats

I was trying to *not* wear this exact outfit everyday because that would fall into the "jeans and cute top" rut that this blog was supposed to help me grow out of, but it happened.  Like maybe four out of seven days a couple of weeks ago.  Some weeks are too busy to care, know what I'm saying?  Maybe that's gross, but...don't act like you don't do it too.  Or maybe you don't and you're like my friend who, when she doesn't want to think about clothes she literally does not think and just grabs whatever is nearest her and wears them together.  And no, she does not care if they match or not.  And yes, most of the time she looks crazy.  Hmm...gross or crazy?  Looks like I choose gross.  You?

This is the same top from a few days ago, just in another pattern--triangles!  Apparently I'm a little drawn to them because I had been eyeing this top for months, which also has cute little triangles.  Who knew triangles could be so adorable?

So do you wear a cami under the top? Do you usually try to match the color or do you do a skin tone color?

  4. I wear a cami under like 99% of tops I wear, and it's usually either black or nude. Which color I choose depends on the color of the top, but I've worn both colors under this particular top.

  5. That's very cute. I need to shop for some blouses. I am in a serious t-shirt rut. I love t-shirts a little too much. I used to wear cute blouses and those sweater-shirt tops a lot when I was working but since I became a stay-at-home mom, I have embraced the t-shirt a little too much! LOL

  7. what, how is that gross?! If you're gross we're all gross.

I've been on the look out for those sleeveless button ups now that you've convinced me that I need them. No luck so far but it kind of takes forever to find something I love anyway ;)

  8. Erm, I don't think that's gross. Now, if you went to gym, or ran a race in that outfit in those four days, then it is gross. But you look like a clean girl ;P So, I say its ok!

  9. I have a No Spill policy for weekend wear: If I didn't spill anything on my outfit (or otherwise get it gross), I'll wear it again the next day. It only applies to weekends when I'm not going anywhere special, but aside from that, I'm the same way.
