I want to say hiiiiii to all of the new readers lately! I'm really glad you're here, and I want to thank you for all of the emails and comments telling me how much your style has changed! I also want to point you to a couple of things here on the blog:
Pin It Button. My amazing tech nerd husband installed a Pinterest button here for us. If you want to pin any pics from a post, hover your mouse over the picture, find the red circle with a "P" in the picture's upper right corner, and click on the red circle. That should allow you to pin pics!
Shop For the Look. Sometimes some of you ask me where you can find a similar item to the ones I'm wearing. Well, somewhere on every post there are links to the exact item I'm wearing or similar ones (like below). If there's nothing listed then I probably couldn't find it or didn't think it was worth linking to.
Sponsors on the Sidebar. For all of you who read through RSS and never make it to the actual blog, I hope you come over once in a while because we've got some awesome sponsors on the sidebar. There are some great new shops to check out every month, along with a couple of companies that help you work your closet. So come on by!
Shop for the Look:
Tank: Old Navy
Jeans: Gap (similar)
Necklace: Old Navy (similar)
Tote: eBags (exact)

Just wanted to say hi back! I am one of those new readers you mentioned and I absolutely love your blog :) It's such a nice change to see accessible, everyday looks! (your style is what I get to wear to work on a daily basis, lucky me!) Thanks for the great ideas!

I love long dangly, simple necklaces - this one's great. And I'm also really glad to see that I'm not the only person who still wears boot cut jeans. Great simple look - perfect for casual Fridays at the office.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your blog! You always look great and inspire me everyday. My friends have noticed how much better I have been dressing this year. I too was stuck in the rut of rotating nice tops with jeans everyday. Now I buy accessories and layer. Thanks again, I can't wait to see what you have in store for spring and summer!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new reader too! I've really been enjoying reading your blog. I really like your style- both clothes-wise, and writing-wise :) I'm excited to start trying some new things. My husband and I are currently living in Africa and have been saving up to buy some new wardrobe items when we return to the States for a visit this summer, so the timing is great! I can't wait to get some more remix-friendly items. Thanks for all the hints and inspiration!!
ReplyDeletelove, love, love this look!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great, chic and simple office look.

Hi Audrey, I'm another newbie here as well! I felt I had really lost my way and didn't know what was in fashion or what to wear as my lifestyle has now changed since having a baby, but your blog has really helped my to get some ideas and make a list of what I do need to buy (otherwise I just buy vest tops and more vest tops!). Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright pop that the necklace gives!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love your gray-on-gray with the bright yellow necklace! I never would have thought to pair the light gray blazer with a darker gray shirt. I just got a light gray blazer a month ago, and have been struggling a little bit to style it...I may borrow inspiration from this outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI need to instal the pin it button on my blog. I pinned how to do it but haven't looked at it since. lol

Love this look! I have a similar blazer :)
ReplyDeleteDoes it get old that I tell you your outfit is my new favorite? Because this is adorable. The wider legs are perfect to balance out the blazer, which fits you like a glove, and the yellow necklace adds just enough interest. Please come dress me every morning. Thanks :)
ReplyDeletejust discovered your blog from a friend and i LOVE it. you have awesome ideas here. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour necklace is adorable! I recently purchased a similar necklace from Stella & Dot and seeing it totally reminded me that I need to put it to use.

What a beautiful bag!
ReplyDeleteI love this simple look with the pop of yellow in the necklace! And tell your hubs good job on the Pinterest button...its not obnoxious like some bloggers (they have HUGE buttons in the middle of the photo!).

I love that pop of yellow! I am a new reader, and really appreciate all your style tips. I finally feel confident to build up a wardrobe I love without being tempted to buy random pieces that don't match! I'm looking forward to getting a few new pieces this summer and to love how I look when I go out. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteand on that note you I want to say you have help me evolve so much. I am back to working after a 2yr hiatus and have to work with what I own for now. Base on your recommendations and looks I am ONLY buying what I know can work together and in different looks. I know clothes and fashion may seem trivial, but working in Downtown NYC you have to look the part. Thank you SO MUCH!
ReplyDeleteWoah, super impressed by the pin it button!!! Go Benson!! Outfit looks great too, as always!!! <3 Rachel
