Not much to say today and not a lot of time to write either! I will say that I loved this outfit. However, I don't think that a lot of the people I wore this around knew what to do with it, the mint jeans and all. Not because they think mint is out, but because they didn't know mint was ever a "thing." They probably thought I was just weird that day, but if that was the case, oh well. I loved it. And I knew I could come back here for some solidarity, to the land of the free, where pants that resemble crayons, unnecessarily enormous statement necklaces, and leopard pumps are embraced.
*Edit: the first link for the mint jeans was broken but is now working. They're $19.99 from Gap!

I just got my mint jeans in the mail yesterday. I'm not a tiny person so I might have a little trouble pulling them off. You, however, look fabulous! I wouldn't have thought of the leopard pumps. LOVE that!! Thanks for inspiring me daily!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE mint and navy together and I can't wait to wear my mint jeans with a navy shirt this spring. Looks so good!
ReplyDeleteLove the jeans, love the combo! "Where pants resemble crayons" - maybe my favorite quote of yours!
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo....so fresh for winter! =)

I usually don't go for pastel, but the mint and navy looks so cute. Also, your hair is looking particularly great in these pictures, I think. :)
ReplyDeleteMint jeans..possible crops are on my wish list... they look great with navy... I have all those same feelings everyday... at least you live on the coast, here in the midwest, pajamas are the outfit of the day here.... :(
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! Are you concerned that you won't be able to wear the mint jeans once they are considered out?
ReplyDeleteI have these same jeans and love them so much! I love that you paired them with leopard, I'll definitely have to try that!

Haha...well, I kind of thought they were already "out" and I still wear them anyway, so...nope!
ReplyDeleteAw man, I do feel your pain. Well, you rock it with the mint jeans in the sea of pajamas. And come back here to blogland for some solidarity too!
ReplyDeleteHold on - mint is out? Ahh but you look so cute in it. I love mint and don't care if it's in or out, It suits you :)

the first link for mint jeans isn't working. ps. i thought the title "solidarity" had to do with the solid colors in your outfit.
ReplyDeleteI totally hear you; this is where I go for my creative outlet.
ReplyDeleteI love mint! I've been on the prowl for a mint colored skirt and blouse.

ReplyDeleteI have the pieces for almost an exact replica of this outfit! I love cobalt and mint together but I never tried navy and mint. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Just bought a mint pair but waiting for spring.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, you look so casual chic! I love your necklace! Maybe I forgot to tell you that I did enjoy SD a lot and your advice about shopping was very helpful. As I had saved for my trip it was ok to go bananas!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this outfit!!
ReplyDeleteSo simple and I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the necklace!
ReplyDeleteI <3 mint and navy!
ReplyDeleteDaaang. Totally went to check out those mint jeans, because $19.99 is excellent and they didn't have my size. Oh well! I love your outfit! I definitely love that necklace!

love the mint jeans! too bad the ones from gap are a little too neon for me =)
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. Your $19.99 Gap link sent me over there... the mint ones weren't left in my size, but I just ordered some lilac ones for $21.99 plus 25% off! Woo. Owning 4 different colors of jeans isn't too much, right? Also, LOVE this outfit on you. Perfectly simple and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTry the second link from Forever 21!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Anna! You did tell me that your trip was great. Did you post any sort of recap on what you got? How was Target and Old Navy for you?
ReplyDeleteI still love that necklace! Why haven't I gotten it for myself yet?!

I wonder if mint will be one of those things that we look back on in decades to come and wonder how it ever came to be. For now, though, I'm all over it.

MINT IS NOT OUT! (I hope.)
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this outfit, and how you were able to bring it up a notch with the mint jeans and necklace :)
i love the blue with the mint! The day I wore my kelly green jeans to my office, people had NO idea what to do with me. I probably shouldn't have paired it with my polka dot too (too loud statements together) however I LOVED the outfit and thats all that matters!

Love the mint and navy!
ReplyDeleteTotally honest, not sure how I feel about the pumps. However, this is one of my favorite outfits from you ever! Even if I'm not sure about the shoes lol.
ReplyDelete"They probably thought I was just weird that day." That is such an accurate description of what I am sure people think of me, too. The good news is that your jeans are fabulous and they look awesome with the leopard shoes and navy top!
ReplyDeleteThis has got be my favorite outfit you've put together! Love it.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I had never thought to pair these colors together, but you've convinced me that it totally works :) I love your necklace!

This is probably one of my most favorite of your outfits and I can't wait to replicate it (although with mint shirt and navy pants). I'm pretty sure that some people in my Office wonder if I know what I'm doing, but I guess it's ok since I am the visual director and I'm supposed to be "artsy".
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit and would wear it today in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteLOVE! I want to order a sweater like that but I'm not sure what size to get. I'm usually a small but at forever 21 I don't always fit a small....Ahhh not sure what size to get! Any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteI'm usually a S or M at Forever 21 and I got this sweater in small. I have a small chest, too, but I still ordered the M because the S was sliding up my wider hips.
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much that totally helps me choose the size! I'll go with medium too! Thanks again! <3
ReplyDeleteI didn't need to know that. Ha.
ReplyDeleteZappos pinned you in this one about an hour ago, Audrey! Good job.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! Thanks for letting me know, Cori!
ReplyDeleteSO, SO fantastic
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great eye for color, and the fit of your clothes is stunning. Don't listen to the haters. <3
I just love this outfit! Simple but interesting... with a special twist.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is really inspiring!
