Sheepish

Putting on a button-up feels as easy as throwing on a t-shirt but it looks much more polished.  I almost felt sheepish for blogging this outfit because it felt too simple.  Then I realized that was dumb because I always want getting dressed to feel simple.  So here you go, whatever it may be, it's what I wore and I'm grateful to be clothed!

A few of you mentioned that you were looking for a shirt like this, and Old Navy has a similar one here.  It seems there was once an olive green one but is not available online anymore, so try your luck in store.

  7. Love this look! I think the more simple, the more chic it looks! Haven't you seen those celebs in US Weekly wearing jeans and a plain t and you think "wow- they look FAB!" :-) You do too! I have this same top from ON and I love it! Glad I snatched it up before it was gone.

We can admire the eclectically, put together, one of a kind accessory outfits put together by you, and many fashion bloggers, but the simple...yes, easy outfits, that JUST LOOK GOOD are all many of us are looking for!!! "Easy" is speaking to the masses I think....love this outfit! Thanks for posting!

  11. I like seeing simpler outfits on fashion blogs, personally. Sometimes I see outfits with so many elements and while they're cute they are too much for my life (hanging out at home, doing groceries, running errands and walking the dog...I don't even have a job to get to at the moment!). Seeing outfits like this remind me that looking put together is always a good thing, even if it is simple and for the sole purpose of picking up some tea from Starbucks...

  15. I totally agree-- it's amazing how a button up can be just as comfortable as a t-shirt and look so much better. I think the key is to add a long necklace like you did or a fun belt to try to make it look not thrown together... if that makes any sense.
