Top: Old Navy (very similar - but color only in stores, similar #2) | Jeggings: NY&Co | Booties: Target (similar, similar) | Bag: ebags.com (shop) | Necklace: c/o Tyler Stained Glass
A few of you mentioned that you were looking for a shirt like this, and Old Navy has a similar one here. It seems there was once an olive green one but is not available online anymore, so try your luck in store.

i need an olive utility blouse like this one! :)

Love the color of that shirt and I agree the necklace pulls everything together.
ReplyDeleteSimply Chic is a great motto. I think it's important to show that something easy to throw together and easy to wear can look great!

It may not be the most daring, complicated outfit, but this olive shirt really suits your complexion :) I love it on you!
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with those Old Navy blouses! So comfy, look nice, easy to wear. I didn't know they had green though; uh oh better go!! :) lol

Love this look! I think the more simple, the more chic it looks! Haven't you seen those celebs in US Weekly wearing jeans and a plain t and you think "wow- they look FAB!" :-) You do too! I have this same top from ON and I love it! Glad I snatched it up before it was gone.

it's one of the reasons you're my favorite fashion blogger! We can admire the eclectically, put together, one of a kind accessory outfits put together by you, and many fashion bloggers, but the simple...yes, easy outfits, that JUST LOOK GOOD are all many of us are looking for!!! "Easy" is speaking to the masses I think....love this outfit! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteDon't sweat it! As a stay-at-home mom, I'm always looking for ideas for how to dress casually... I'm sure I'm not alone. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is simple chic! Remember it's about fit and proportions lol
ReplyDeleteI like seeing simpler outfits on fashion blogs, personally. Sometimes I see outfits with so many elements and while they're cute they are too much for my life (hanging out at home, doing groceries, running errands and walking the dog...I don't even have a job to get to at the moment!). Seeing outfits like this remind me that looking put together is always a good thing, even if it is simple and for the sole purpose of picking up some tea from Starbucks...
ReplyDeleteI love this look - especially those booties, they kick the outfit up a notch. Looking good!
ReplyDeleteSimple and chic without being fussy. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you did post this outfit! I love it! The pieces are simple but the necklace and shoes you paired it with and the way you tucked the shirt in are the little details that someone like me would never think of but make it work. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree-- it's amazing how a button up can be just as comfortable as a t-shirt and look so much better. I think the key is to add a long necklace like you did or a fun belt to try to make it look not thrown together... if that makes any sense.

Darling! I wore a very similar shirt from Old Navy today :) It is so true how a roomy button up like this can make you feel comfortable but look stylish.
ReplyDeleteThat color green looks amazing on you, by the way.
I love the simplicity of this post!

I almost always find the simple outfits to be the prettiest, and I love this one. I love your shirt, no surprise to see that it's from Old Navy, which is one of my most frequent stops. Pretty outfit!
