I'll admit it. I saw this Target skirt on Kendi and went on a mad hunt for it the next time I was at Target, which, let's be honest, is like every other day. That's what happens when you live 6 minutes away from Target. Jealous? Or maybe terrified for me and my wallet. As you should be. And then I bought it in orange and in blue. Thank you, clearance racks. (Like I said, terrified for my wallet.)
Okay but really, don't worry. It was on my list to find a skirt in this color that was of a heavier material and would feel more appropriate for cooler weather. That's why I went on the mad hunt, because it was exactly what I was looking for. But those clearance racks are dangerous nonetheless. I especially have a weakness for SHOES on clearance at Target and dresses. They kill me! What are your Target clearance rack vices? (Or whatever your favorite store is.)

Oh man, I saw this skirt on Kendi and immediately wanted to snatch it up too... unfortunately for me (fortunately for my wallet?) Target is on the other side of town & I just feel super lazy ordering Target clothes on line (is that just me?)... but I will live vicariously through you and your super fab skirt (also very jealous that you got both colors, and on sale!)

Target dresses and cardigans!! If their jeans/colored denim fit me better, I would have a host of them, as well (that's pretty much the only reason I'm glad I don't fit into most of their jeans, haha!).
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the shoes. I've bought 2 pair off the Target clearance aisle this month. One because I'd been looking for them forever and the other pair just because. But to be truthful, all clearance calls to me. It's the best way to shop.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit on you! The skirt is really flattering with your top (which is adorable by the way). I am lucky that I am not able to rush out to the stores and buy things I see on people's blogs (most of the time anyway), being here in Australia. It is risky that I have to search more thought sometimes as I buy other items that I wasn't even looking for!

The skirt was so cheap on clearance that it'd be impossible not to buy. I saw it at my Target but they didn't have my size :(

Yeeehhhsssss! Target clearance rack gets me every time. (Your outfit is adorable by the way) I live about 20 minutes from Target, but I just found out they're building one this year, like 5 minutes away from my house so umm...yeah. Worry for me and my wallet too :)
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this outfit, so I don't blame you for hunting down the skirt (in multiple colors!). This is one of my favorite outfits of yours!
ReplyDeleteI like that the blogs I stalk are stalking each other. I cant decide whether I want the top or the skirt more. Cute!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite outfits of yours! Obsessed with Target!
ReplyDeleteIn order to stay on top of target I visit 3 times a week and usually do 3 different ones! I am ADDICTED to Target
ReplyDeleteHa! I was just in Target today. I saw so many cute stuff. Now I'm on their website because a lot of items are not sold in stores :)
ReplyDeleteOn another note, how do you find Target sweaters and cardigans? I remember you did a post on sweaters before, but I can't find it. Do they pill easily?
First of all I love your blouse... And my favourite things from Target clearance racks are pretty blouses and jeans!
ReplyDeleteI'm an Old Navy clearance racker! I always find the most adorable dresses.
ReplyDeleteOur targets will soon be opening!! I can't even wait - it's stories like these that have had me green with envy forever!! The yellow and burnt orange look perfect together, I full support your clearance rack obsession!
ReplyDeleteI've bought like two Mossimo sweaters, one was my yellow cardi and the other just a sweater, and they both fuzzed. Really annoying. Some people might think that's normal, but I have like 10 other cardigans from H&M and Old Navy and NONE Of them have done the fuzzing thing which makes me realize that I don't have to live with fuzzing. I think it's that "ultra soft thing"--that has usually means "ultra fuzzing" for me! I don't have experience with the Merona ones though.
ReplyDeleteLove your look!

Love how warm this outfit is color wise! ANd that top is so pretty! I love the pattern. My target weakness is those dang colored skin jeans. I just keep buying them!
ReplyDeleteI have a slightly unhealthy Target obsession. The shoes and jewelry on clearance always get me!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for most stuff on clearance at Target, provided the fit & length are right. I just scored a few awesome pieces at Kohl's clearance yesterday, and saved almost 150% of what I spent.
ReplyDeleteLove the coats on clearance at Target! I always stock up on winter coats come January when they go on clearance.
ReplyDeleteI really try to stay away from Target clothes because they never fit me right. I think I'm just too tall/large haha - seriously! I'm always so jealous of all of the inexpensive pieces everyone finds, but I just can't do it :(
ReplyDeleteColored pants on the clearance rack always get me :P well, come to think of it, I'm a sucker for colored pants anytime... ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Well I definitely stalk Kendi and have no shame.
ReplyDeleteI love the structure and belt of that skirt? As a wide-hipped girl, could I pull that off?
ReplyDeleteShoes and cardigans are my weakness at Target!
Did you shorten this skirt? Or maybe you are wearing it high on your waist? Mine hits me just above the knee. I'm 5'5" how tall are you? I think I like it better the way it hits you mid thigh.
ReplyDeleteHey Amy, I'm 5'6" and I didn't alter the skirt or anything. I bought it so that fits at my natural waist though, so maybe that's why?
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome. Loved the outfit.
ReplyDeleteWanna follow each other ? :)

That outfit looks incredible on you!
ReplyDeleteJust curious, do you know of anywhere else I could find a mustard cardigan like that? I've searched everywhere and no avail!
Love your blog, thanks for all the inspiration!
Thanks Kristina! I always post link for where you can buy similar items at the bottom of every outfit post. There are a few links to mustard cardigan options.
ReplyDeleteYour blog makes me want to go shopping...bad. Seems pointless for another 4 months though. Post-baby me is going to be fab!
ReplyDeleteOh man I love this outfit! Can I hire you as my stylist? haha! I need help every morning.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Actually, you *can* hire me as a stylist! Email me if you're interested. :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this outfit! I tried this skirt on in blue earlier in the season and wanted to wait until it was marked down, then I forgot :( It looks fantastic in orange so I hope they will bring a similar look back this fall...then I won't wait!! Glad you got it though!!
