Recap: Mustard Cardigan

Mustard Cardigan Options: one, two, three, four

Happy New Year!  I've gotta say, it's a bit strange pre-writing these posts and scheduling them to go up around big events like New Year's Day.

Anyway, today's recap is THE MUSTARD CARDIGAN!  Have I worn this to death?  Yes, and it has not overstayed its welcome yet.  I don't know what else I need to say about this thing.  A picture is worth a thousand words, and here I have 12 of them!

Is it even possible to have a favorite out of all of these choices?  Of course it is.  Leopard and mustard, my friend.  That's all you need.

What color cardigan is your personal favorite?

  1. After reading your blog, I decided I had to have a mustard cardigan and its probably the most worn one in my dresser. I also have a navy cashmere one I thrifted a month ago and I wear that a lot!

  5. Audrey, I love your cardigans. When I try to wear mine with a long sleeve shirt or 3/4 sleeve shirt underneath them I always feel too "bunchy". How do you keep the sleeves from bunching up? Do you buy a size larger or just wear with sleeveless shirts?

  11. I love these collages - it really shows how certain pieces can get so much wear and still look fresh each time. I just bought a mustard cardigan ( only like 3 years after everyone else) so I'm excited to recreate ALL of these ;)

  22. I bought my fave from Tilly's, but it looks to be sold out. :( I also have a mustard one from target - the Mossimo ultrasoft cocoon cardigan...but I don't like that one as much because the sleeves are too narrow for anything except sleeveless to go underneath and I don't like that it doesn't button :). But, the material is great so if you can find one that buttons and size up, it might work!

  23. I have a black cardigan with hearts on the elbows that I have literally wore until it was threadbare. I love your mustard cardigan! I didn't realize that color could go with so many things!! =)

  24. OH my goodness! I just saw your pictures on facebook that someone took at Urbana at America's Center. I wouldn't have recognized you, because your face is turned away, but I recognized your style of clothing (can you tell I love this blog?) and on the picture someone said "That's Audrey!" Is that where you were?

  30. Hi Audrey! I love reading your ideas of one piece multiple ways, it really shows how much you can get out of one piece! Really makes me want to learn to stretch my wardrobe instead of just buying something new, which my wallet loves too :) I think my favorite look here is the floral top and maroonish pants, but they are all really cute! Thanks for sharing!
