You guys, I'm overheating just looking at this outfit. Right now it's 78 degrees, the skies are blue, and the sun is beating down on my face. I have a hefty backlog of outfits queued to post since I wasn't posting any during the week of the guest posts. So yes, my outfit posts are roughly a week and a half later than real time, but it's not like I'm entire season behind. It sure does feel like it though. The weather turned from 50 degrees to 78 degrees, like overnight. (50 is cold for us weaklings. See this picture, which is completely true, btw.) I'm definitely not complaining, just saying. But I am feeling a little suffocated from this outfit, so if you'll excuse me, I am going to go open the refrigerator and stand in front of it for a moment of cheap airconditioning. (Someone, tell me you do that too.)

Love that polka dot skirt!
ReplyDeleteYou are as cute as a button and it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there the way you do; I say, stand tall and take those photos with confidence and pride!
ReplyDeletegreat layered look.

So cute! I love that skirt. And I know what you mean... it got so warm this weekend! Definitely not complaining, but I miss layers already :D
ReplyDeletei can't imagine 78 degrees! the high is 9 today!! love the belted cardigan!! forlaurenandlauren.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the black tights with black booties! BTW, It's NEGATIVE 8 degrees right now, feels like -33...
ReplyDeletehaha! That meme of San Diego versus Wisconsin is hilarious. My friend moved out to the Bay Area from Wisconsin last year and just went back to visit family and mentioned the high was 3. THREE!!! But it's like no big deal to them. Nope, I'll take sunny, warm CA any day. :)
ReplyDeleteCute outfit!! I like the polka dots. :-) The high here in the twin cities is -4 today. I'd LOVE some 78!
ReplyDeleteI work in a restaurant, and have been known to go stand in the walk-in cooler when I get hot, or "take a trip around the revolving door" during the winter time. :)
ReplyDeleteWell it's -31F where I live so I'm happy to get a good cold-weather idea!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying this warm weather too and kind of not ready for this heat. I want winter to last just a little longer so I can wear some of the items I bought on super duper sale. You look fab!

It's currently 5 degrees in Michigan and very snowy. I'm shivering just looking at this outfit. Needs a floor length fur coat, snow boats and a ski mask. Come on, you can do it AND rock it, right? :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love your cardigan - it looks so cozy!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I almost bought that skirt yesterday from the Forever 21 clearance section and now I'm really regretting that I didn't! It's been in the 60s here, so I'm really scared of being in SLC on Wednesday for Alt. I might die of the cold! How was Chicago? I heard it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit. I have a skirt similar to yours that I got on sale at J Crew. Love this outfit.

Lol!!! Love the part about standing in front of the fridge for "Cheap air conditioning" Cute outfit, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

I have that same skirt and I love it! I love how you styled it!

78 degrees! I would love 78 degrees, it is 8 where I live right now :( Cute outfit, I especailly like the polka dot skirt.
ReplyDeleteI am SO unbelievably jealous. Ha-ha and that 50 degrees picture was great. In Massachusetts we got up to like 35 degrees and it felt tropical... not even lying. This is a really cute outfit! I actually may copy it for an outfit tomorrow. Its suppose to SNOW and I like wearing booties then because the snow doesnt get all inside of the flats/and bottom of pants wet.
ReplyDeleteGasp! 78 degrees, Audrey! It's a chilly 43 degrees in San Jose today! I guess I'll have to wait it out to express some nice balmy weather.

I love how we were just talking about weather together, and I am super jealous that you've warmed back up. We are holding steady in the 40s here still. But on warm days, you will definitely see me in front of the fridge cooling off!
ReplyDeleteI still think I need to invest in some fleece-lined tights!
Very cute outfit, I am loving those boots! Haha I bet you wouldn't like our -6 degree weather up north here!
ReplyDelete9?!?! Bless you, friend.
ReplyDeleteMind = blown. Cannot even fathom negative 8!
ReplyDeleteHa! This made me chuckle out loud to myself.
ReplyDelete-31F?!?!?!?! For goodness sake! Where on earth do you live? And how are you still alive?
ReplyDeleteOh, absolutely. I rock ski masks in my sleep.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind 43 either! But that's like as low as I can go without complaining haha. You're in my hometown, btw!
ReplyDeleteMust be nice to have 78* weather, because I got home and its 27 here! BRRR!!! Cute skirt! Love the pairing with the cardi and the chambray shirt.

Cant' believe that skirt is from Forever 21. There is a very similar one at Jcrew and it's a bit too pricey for me. Might have to pick this one up
ReplyDeleteHere in Canada, we stay away from the fridge.. but hang out by the stove or heating vents sure. I may or may not have wrapped myself in fresh out of the dryer clothes though...
ReplyDeleteReally? I didn't realize that your "stomping grounds" were rooted in the Bay Area! I just moved here several months ago (I got married in September). I gotta say that this area has much more to offer than my hometown (Bakersfield area)!
ReplyDeletelady, i live in minnesota and i don't even own any fleece lined tights! i'm not even sure if our high temp got past 0 degrees today!
