I'm baaaaaaack! The conference I was working on at the end of the year was absolutely amazing. I'm still trying to process everything that happened at it along with reflecting on 2012 as a whole. It's not easy to reflect on an entire year, you know?
Anyway, HUGE thanks to all of the ladies that guest posted here last week. I was totally sick coming off my trip, so it was a major gift to have them all here. Plus, I'm so glad you all were introduced to their blogs!
This is an outfit I wore before Christmas but hadn't gotten around to posting. I tried to get myself out of my jeans and cognac boots rut at least for one day. It got me to wear a new skirt and a new pair of shoes while reviving an old cardigan and top that I haven't worn in a while. Gotta love when you can revive the oldies!

I have a cardigan in a similar color that is one of my faves! I don't look great in mustard, so I say that my magenta cardi is my version of the mustard one everyone seems to be wearing.
ReplyDeleteI really like the color combination of this outfit. The skirt and cardigan go well together.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I missed you!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back! Love this outfit (as usual)... that pattern on that top is awesome :) Hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I became a new reader while you were gone!

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Fun but also easy to take seriously! :)
ReplyDeletePurple is a hard one for me to wear. I love the monochromatic mix here, along with the opaque tights and boots! This is a win.
ReplyDeleteLove this skirt and your booties!

Great to see your face again lady :) I love that even though you have a style that is pretty "you", you're still willing to try out new things. I'm still holding off on the bootie look, but I think it combined with tights makes it something I could almost try! almost...
ReplyDeleteI always seem to get sick by the end of holidays or trips... bummer. Hope you're feeling better! And I love how you switched things up here - black tights + booties is so sophisticated and sleek, plus bonus reuse of older pieces?! Perfect. I'm inspired to go dig out a skirt and tights and give those jeans/boots a rest for a day too...
ReplyDeleteI really love the shape of that skirt on you, so pretty...and that color cardigan is so flattering!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this outfit!!
ReplyDeleteThe booties and tights work absolutely perfectly together and with this outfit. Love the A-line skirt on you.
