January Sponsor Love

A lot of people ask me how I organize my closet.  My closet at home is organized, but the real "magic" happens for me in Go Chic or Go Home.  You can read about ways I use it in this post and this post.  It totally helps me know what's in my closet, and I often say that the more I use GCOGH the less I care to shop.  Still true!

My current favorite way to use GCOGH is whenever I see an outfit that I like, instead of pinning it I go straight to my GCOGH ensemble creator and create the outfit with my own clothes and save for later.  Every week I open up my GCOGH Ensembles and choose which outfits I'll wear.  Looooooove.

It's completely free, nothing ever to purchase.  In fact, you actually GET REWARDS (read: gift cards to stores) for using it more, so why wouldn't you use it?

P.S. Check out their Facebook page--they give away free stuff like $50 gift cards to any retailer GCOGH works with--like J.Crew and ASOS to name a couple!

Tip: If uploading pics of all your clothes seems overwhelming, start with just 5.  I did 5 every couple days and got addicted and had 90% of my closet up in no time.

  2. Okay, I'm convinced that I need to try just uploading 5 things to GCOGH this weekend. It seems like it would be so great to use, but you're right that getting started is a little overwhelming...

  3. Ok I want to use the GCOGH site because I have so much clothes, it would be thrilling to see it all in a virtual closet. However, I so don't find the site user-friendly. What's the secret? I want to do this!

  4. To create Ensembles, use the "Create" tab at the top. Drag and drop your items into the box at the bottom and save your ensemble. Let me know if you have anymore questions! :)

  5. Yeah, seriously. I didn't use it for a loooong time because I didn't want to upload anything. But once I got to 10 items I could start mixing and matching and just wanted more of my closet in there, which is how it got addicting!

  6. Honestly, I felt the same way when I first saw the site a few years ago. But once I started actually using it, it has become second nature. Start with the "Upload" tab to upload your clothes, and press the big "+" symbol to add files.

If you start browsing any pics in GCOGH, whether it's someone else's outfit picture or even someone else's clothing item, click into the picture. Then, you can click the heart button in the upper right corner that says "Add" to add the picture to any of your own boards.

Let me know if you've got more questions! Also, one of the founders, Cynthia, is terrific at answering questions and hearing feedback, so don't be shy to ask or to give suggestions!

    Hi, Alice!

I also responded to you via GCOGH, but the issue with your boards is all fixed. Remix away! :-)
