Casual day. (Not unlike any other day, really.) People, if you don't know what to wear in the morning, take a cue from Jessica Alba, the queen of scarves. You cannot go wrong with jeans, a plain tee, and a fun scarf. I think next on my list is a striped scarf or a polka dot one.
Seen any cute scarves lately? Give me links if you can! I used to feel like if I gave a scarf as a gift I was somehow copping out, but after the revelation of the importance of accessorizing I'm saying, "Self, rethink that." A cute scarf is moving to the top of my list of great gifts to give for Christmas!
Speaking of fun things to give, with all the traveling I've been doing, one of my new favorite travel companions is this washi tape pouch from The Pleated Poppy. It brightens me up when I'm feeling tired of living out of a suitcase.

I got a cute polka dot one this weekend at Kohl's (http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1168675/apt-9-hot-dot-wrap.jsp). I think scarves are great to put on the top of the Christmas wishlist and gift lists this year!

Scarves are the ultimate statement necklace. I have a gazillion of them & I bought most of them inexpensively on eBay. Etsy has lot of nice knitted ones (although they be more expensive). Burlington has inexpensive ones too.

Those jeans look really good on you! I have been wanting a pair of grey jeans (right after donating my own pair awhile ago, UGH.) and I really like these. I totally wish I had more fun scarves to accessorize boring outfits with, but I don't :( :( :( Maybe someday!
