Green and white again--a combo I recently did. One great way to build more outfits is to have different types of bottoms all in the same color. I have a white skirt, white shorts, and white jeans, and now I can wear this same top with all of those pieces in the spring/summer, summer, and fall/winter, respectively. Because I know the combo works, I don't have to give much more thought about the combination! (But then again, many things work with white, haha.) I might add a colorful scarf and boots to this look for fall, too.
Do you buy different types of bottoms in the same color?

i definitely do that! i buy multiple bottoms in different styles so i can remix outfits! love it!
ReplyDeleteThat color is SO pretty! I love it. I also do the same thing with the multiples. Makes getting reaady so much easier!

I do buy different bottoms in the same color. I have a great red skirt and red cropped pant. Wishing i bought some red shorts, but there's always next summer. Great outfit.
ReplyDeleteThe green shade of that top is so pretty! I definitely buy bottoms in different colors :)
ReplyDeleteNo, but that's a great idea. I don't have many bottoms and I should work on that.
ReplyDeleteReally good idea. Sometimes I shy away from things because I may have them in the same color- but that makes a lot of sense!
ReplyDeleteI don't, but what a great idea!

I do buy different types of bottoms in the same color, especially if it is a nuetral for me. For example I have a navy skirt, navy slacks and navy capri pants. I can also see buying pants and a skirt of the same color, especially if it is a favorite because the different shapes of the pieces give a different look.
ReplyDeleteI don't... but I should! I see that now! ;)
ReplyDeleteI always love reading your tips. They're so simple and easy to do. Sometimes, I often wonder, "why didn't I think of that?!"

Very cute necklace! I very frequently buy the same color articles. I even go so far as to duplicates of the same item.

Yes I am so guilty of it! If I really like something, I sometimes buy in multiple colors too. Such a bad habit!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see that necklace - I want to hunt it down and find one for myself...I love it!

Great concept! J talks about it on her blog, too. Check it out... http://www.jseverydayfashion.com/2012/05/todays-everyday-fashion-multiples.html Now if I can just find "multiples" that fit me!
ReplyDeleteYou are a remixing queen. You seriously have the skills when it comes to stretching your wardrobe and looking fab!!
ReplyDeleteI want white shorts but wasn't able to find any this summer. Love this look and I loved that top with the white skirt too!
