Oh man, you guys. It's been a very full week, with both good things to celebrate and sad news to be bummed about. I haven't posted much because I've basically worn Target v-neck tees and shorts all week, topping it off with this necklace from Bubble Necklace Co. I know these J.Crew-inspired necklaces are all over blogs right now, but what was more appealing to me was the fact that I could have a smattering of yellow sprawled out all over me, because like I've said before, I'm a little obsessed with yellow. And I love how huge this necklace is because it easily and quickly gave character to all the plain tees I wore this week. It doesn't get much simpler than that.
In case you thought I was brave enough to wear a white tee with white jeans, I hate to disappoint you, but this tee is peach.

ReplyDeleteI bought a pajama dress at Target today ($17 clearance), and the same high low dress from your last post, but in the all over print. Would you wear the vest with that dress? I'm afraid the chiffon dresses won't look right with the army vest. I'm also still trying to decide which color of vest to keep... Or can I really get away with 2??

Love it in yellow! I wear my turquoise one pretty much every day and love it so much that I don't even care that I'm unoriginal. It goes with EVERYTHING and makes tees so fancy. And your white jeans are great!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?!? Because even if it's unoriginal, it works and makes it very easy to get dressed in the morning. And really, people who don't read style blogs still aren't familiar with these necklaces.

ReplyDeleteHa - good point. Most of the real life people I know won't realize I'm unoriginal compared to other people; they'll just think I'm unoriginal because I wear the same necklace every day. But it is SO easy to get dressed with, and I love it!
