White jeans. I love them. Sadly these are not mine; they're borrowed. I try to avoid saying that I *NEEEEED* a particular item so as to cultivate gratitude in my heart instead of taking all that I have for granted, but hot dang, it's hard not to tell myself that I need some white jeans. Suffice it to say, I would really, really like a pair. They're on my list, but since I haven't found the right pair yet, I borrowed some because I thought they would go perfectly with this fun, summery color blocked top from Shy Boutique!
I think a bright top like this with white jeans is a great, easy peasy way to wear jeans in the summer. Plus orange pumps, of course. How would you wear jeans on a cooler summer day?
I love jeans paired with a light and airy tank top that is not that easy to wear because it is so light. Too confusing? Well, I have a tank top that is like that and I always want a cool summer day to wear it on!

oh, girl. you definitely NEED to get you some white jeans. i have two pair and they end up in the laundry EVERY week. they are so easy to dress up or down! i love to wear pastels or brights... (like yellow, aqua) or my chambray shirt with them.

ReplyDeleteLove that outfit! I have a pair of white jeans that I got at Gap Outlet for $20. It's so hot here in Alabama that I only get to wear them at night, but I usually pair them with a bright top and neutral accessories.

I have never, ever owned white pants of any kind, but I've seen some amazing white skinnies lately that are making me wonder. I suspect it would take me AGES to make a decision I am happy with, though, so who knows if I'll ever end up owning some? At least you made a good use of borrowing and have an excellent combo here!

Oh, the need vs. want... but they look so good on you! White jeans do make for easy outfits (I love bright tops too, and also chambray of course), but I made myself wait to find a really good deal on a pair because most summer days are way too hot for jeans around here. If it helps justify, I have found them to be quite versatile, even getting good spring and fall use out of them :)

ReplyDeleteWhite jeans scare me. It's one of the few fashion things I will say, "I can't pull them off." Not because of how I would look but because 100% I would destroy them within 2 seconds of putting them on. But then I see you in these jeans looking fabulous and really want a pair!
