Mint Craze

I try not to get into too many trends, but one trend I cannot get enough of is MINT!  Even though I recognize that it's just pale green / maybe a light shade of celadon or sage, etc. with a hip trendy name like "mint" designed to trick us into thinking it's fresh, I'm still all over it.  When I first noticed it a few months ago, I tried to control myself by only buying this tee and refraining from nail polish, jeans, and other mint accessories, but for whatever reason I decided that I'm gonna ride this trend!  Mint jeans in my last post...and today?  Mint & navy!  It just goes with so much.

  3. I SO want mint in my closet, but I still haven't found the right pair of jeans, but I do have a nice minty shirt that I've been wearing. :) I'm also into the neon colors lately...just in tiny doses of course.

I've been thinking about how many mint pieces I've been seeing out there, and debating whether or not I should give it a try myself (i'm trying to shop less).  Then it hit me!  I already have a mint shirt in my closet!  I thrifted it last summer.  Yay!  I really love this mint and navy combo.  Kind of nautical and ocean-y.

  9. I'm totally with you on mint... I'm a sucker for it packaged as a "fresh" color. I've got nail polish and a watch at the moment and was only prevented from the Target t-shirt and jeans when my Target was out of my size. It looks sooo fabulous with navy.

  12. Yes, these shoes are comfy!  For me, at least.  The material isn't rigid, which prevents the toe-cramping thing.

  15. I love this season's pastel trend and my favorite pastel is definitely mint.  I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE navy as a neutral and the pairing you did here is absolute perfection!

  16. My closet is lacking in mint! I think I'd like to add a t-shirt or belt or something like that though--at first I wasn't sure about it but now I see how versatile it can be! It looks great with navy, you're right!
