I just got back from being out of town, yes, again. Two trips back to back: brother's graduation from seminary and a staff retreat for work. My days are all mixed up and busy recovering from being away. I'm definitely relying on chocolate ice cream to maintain my sanity.
I've had this outfit in mind for a while but finally decided to wear it because I saw a girl at my brother's graduation wearing it, exact skirt and all. And lemme tell ya, she looked CUTE. I liked her version better because her jacket was shorter and lighter colored, but I still like this nonetheless! I may or may not have creepily followed her around the graduation to catch glimpses of her outfit. But at least it gave me something to do because let's face it, graduations are boring. Hearing hundreds of names called and watching strangers walk across stage = boring. Stalking people with cute outfits = fun. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.
I'm looking forward to more time to catch up this weekend. What's your weekend looking like?
And, only a couple of days left to enter to win $25 to Eclectic Ornaments!

My weekend will be uneventful. I am traveling now as well and leaving this destination Sunday. I love how you put the outfit together.

Graduations are seriously the worst! We entertained ourselves during high school graduation by looking at the shoes some of the graduating girls were wearing. All the teachers faced the seniors. Man there were some doozies!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! So fresh, know what I mean?
I'm glad I am not the only "cute outfit stalker" lol. I just hope I never get caught! I have two blue jeans jackets and neither seem just right, but I am determined to try them with a soft skirt like you do because you always look so darn cute! Have an awesome day Audrey!:)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love that you stalked her outfit! Much more interesting than the graduation :) I love the rust color of your skirt. Have a great weekend, Audrey!

ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious. And I love the necklaces together. So glad you're back and hope you get a chance to catch your breath :)
ReplyDeleteGotta get myself a simple striped top. Seems to be very versatile & just the thing I'm missing. I'm a people-watcher too, and when I see a cute outfit it kinda verges on people-stalker. (This weekend my hubby arrives back home from a week trade show in San Diego. He tells me it's a long journey from Australia!)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, love the color of the skirt! You look awesome!

I found your blog via a shoutout on GOMI and I'm so excited because I love EVERYTHING you wear. Its refreshing to see people really try to work with their closet, rather than just buy new things. Thank you for the inspiration :)
