Top: Lace Affair | Sweater: Old Navy | Belt: H&M | Skirt: thrifted (gift)
Tights: Old Navy | Boots: Dolce Vita via Macy's (gift)
My friend thrifted this skirt, but since it didn't fit her she gave it to me. The last time I wore a denim skirt was some 9 or 10 years ago, in college. Do people still wear these things?? This skirt has been shuffled back and forth between my donate pile and my closet since August because I wasn't sure if the cool kids still wore denim skirts. However, when I saw this pin I stopped worrying about whether or not denim skirts were still cool and immediately dug the skirt out of the donate pile and decided it was a keeper. Pinterest strikes again.

Great outfit! I would absolutely wear the entire thing. You have quickly become one of my favorite fashion bloggers mainly because your outfits are so wearable. I just started wearing my denim skirt again as well, but it's too big, so time to shop for a new one!

I have the same question about denim skirts. I have two - one that is a little more country - and lately I've stayed away from them. Still, I think this is a great look on you. I say keep the skirt and wear it if you are feeling it. - Katy
ReplyDeleteI love that lacey top! I think that denim skirts are perfectly fine, as long as they're styled well. I've been searching for a good one myself lately.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, I looove your blog! I've been learning how to "dress cuter" and have been searching the internet for inspiration. Your blog is adorable - I just read the entire thing! Love your remix posts - they are so helpful for teaching me how to buy a few key pieces. Thank you! :)
