So busy these days! We got back yesterday from our weekend trip to the Bay Area for our friend's wedding and I'm packing up to leave for Chicago tomorrow. On top of that, I have to learn 20 songs for the conference that I'll be playing/singing at over the weekend. Yikes! Annnnd, I might not have time to write the post on shopping for versatile pieces this week. (I'm still gonna try, though.) Who's bright idea was it to start a series during the busiest two weeks of traveling? Oops.
Anyway, blazers and boots. Yet another one of those combos for which I'm like, "Really? How have I not done this before?" I've pinned an outfit with blazer + boots and I've seen other bloggers do it, but it wasn't until I was wearing this outfit sans blazer and necklace and happened to see my black blazer lying around that the lightbulb went on. I added a little focal piece with the statement necklace and walked around feeling cozy (sweater + boots) and chic (blazer) at the same time!
