Growing

Top: Target ($8)  |  Blazer: Target (gifted, $8)  |  Jeans: NY & Co (?)  |  Shoes: Target $25 (shop)
Scarf: H&M ($3)  |  Ring: c/o Ellaine Calas of Stella & Dot (shop)

Am I really pattern mixing again?  Already??  Who am I, and what have you all done to me?

I want to say a little hello to all the new readers as of late!  It's a weird feeling that as the blog grows I feel less of a connection with you all.  I love when you comment because it gives me a sense of who you are and helps me feel connected.  But, whether you follow from afar or you comment everyday just to say hello, I'm so glad to have you as part of this journey!  :)

Coming down the pipe, I have a handful of ideas for posts in which I talk about what I've learned over the last 5 months and how I've been redoing my closet.  Hopefully I can get them out of my head and start pumping them out on the blog!

P.S. I love our Christmas tree!  Even though Kimmie told me on Twitter that her 2 year old does this, I'm not ashamed to tell you that every time I walk by our tree I inadvertently shout, "Hi, Christmas tree!"  <3

  2. This is a great pattern mixing outfit!  Plus, your rolled jeans and boots are adorable!  That's funny you talk to your tree.  I talk to my Christmas lights outside, ha ha! Heather

  7. Stripes + floral = love. And you pulled it off flawlessly. I wonder what other blogger trends will slowly creep into your wardrobe, hehe. Also, it is really weird to have followers who never interact, huh? Fun, but strange.

  8. Hi, I just came across your blog a few days ago. I am taking style mental notes. I love blazers & cardigans but thought they were too "old school" looking until now....I love how you pair them. Thanks for all the great inspiration. :)

  9. LOVE that scarf! They just built an H&M about 30 mins from my house. It's been a mad house the last few weeks, but soon I'm going to brave it, and finding an adorable scarf like that one is definitely on my list! :)

  10. I remember when our nearest H&M was an hour and a half away, and my husband and I drove up there for our anniversary because we loved H&M so much!  Haha.  Then, they finally built 3 of them in San Diego and I almost died inside from excitement.  Good luck on your H&M adventure!  The lines should die down in a few months, if you can wait that long.  :)

  15. I just read your entire blog all the way back to the beginning and I just wanted to tell you that I love your style. I'm in my mid-twenties and am trying to find that sweet spot between dressing like a college slob and dressing like my mom. I love that your look is clean, simple and classy while keeping it fun and youthful. I could definitely see myself in a lot of your outfits and still feeling like I look professional. I will absolutely be following your blog from now on!!!
