Truth? I haven't worn this outfit yet, and even though I'm backed up on outfit posts from last week, I snapped pics and posted this outfit early for Everybody Everywear. I plan to wear it this weekend for a holiday party...that counts, right? I was actually going to sit out EBEW again this month, but AE had a 40% off sale, and this top was available. I was planning on buying a sequined top someday anyway, so this was a no-brainer.
As you can see, today was a cloudy, rainy day. I wish I had better self-portrait skills so that you could see the ring more clearly because I kept the clothes neutral so that the ring would pop, and for me, the ring makes the whole outfit. It's still fascinating to me how such a tiny accessory can, at least in my mind, pull together an outfit.

I LOVE that top! The color is great! I'm glad you're participating, because you look great!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this white blazer...and the sequins :)

You did a great job! The white blazer looks so pretty with your sequined top. Yes, the ring is beautiful as well as your earrings too :)

ReplyDeleteYOu look splendid. I love the colours, effortlessly classy.
ReplyDeleteCute - I like how the neutrals keep the sequins from being over-the-top. I bought a sequin tank for a holiday party last year and am still trying to figure out other ways to style it (haven't worn it much since...) - so I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I wish I had a holiday parties to go to so I could dress accordingly! You definitely showcased the ring with this outfit, so bravo!
ReplyDeleteDitto on my post for EBEW. I love contributing, and I wanted to show off my haircut, which now that I think of it may be inspired by your hair. Got bored so I cut it haha. Sequins are great, and even better on sale! Love this take on it :)

ReplyDeletehehe. I use to do that to. . . take the picture and wear the outfit later but not so much now with my new blog I am lucky to remember to blog. But you look real nice in this outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain on the self portrait skills. I take my own pictures too and sometimes what I think is a great detail just doesn't come across in my pictures. Such is life! Cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteLove the ring! And your white blazer is great... Love the necklace and the pumps too. :)
ReplyDeleteCheers,

This is a little bit different than what you normally wear: a little less colorful and more muted. I absolutely adore the ring and the earrings. I have a very similar pair of earrings that I am actually wearing currently. Your AE tank is so cute, you had to snap it up. =)
